my gigantic houseplant stampy is a
constant source of inspiration
as he takes up a fair amount of space
in my studio, just basking in the tropical
greenhouse effect of the morning sun
streaming through my windows…
i have pure religious awe for this plant
so prehistoric in his many patterned leaves
lit up by the first light of the day
later in the middle of the night,
i found warmth in the warm orange glow
of this magnificent silk tulip on my floor…
light through plants hypnotizes me
